About

   As the Home Page states, Year of The Bubble is a celebration of the collision of the coming year (yes, we're a little ahead of schedule) and our postcode. It is aimed at locals who get the nuances and references of what it means to live in 2026. It is not intended for tourists (you'll notice Bondi itself isn't mentioned at all). To begin with we're only delivering within the 2026 postcode, but expect to expand after the first print run.

Designs

The intention is for the look and feel of the designs to vary dramatically to appeal to all versions of us, but maintaining the constant theme of 2026 x 2026 or however else it is best expressed. We are going to collaborate with the many local illustrators, photographers and other artists to create Limited Edition runs (possibly limited to 26 - get it!?).

Sustainability

At this stage our main product supplier is AS Colour who are a B-Cert company from NZ. We're using as many of their organic offerings as suitable. We collaborate with the good folk at Sweeney Bros Printing (just up the road in Bronte 2024). Sendle are our local logistic carriers and our packaging is totally compostable thanks to Hero Packagings efforts. Pre-orders (the following para) are also all about slowing waste.

Model

As it is a passion project, more than a business, the future designs (some that are displayed here as digital samples) will only be available on a Pre-order model. That is, we'll produce them once we have 30 orders of each design locked-in. Naturally that helps fund the project and involve more Designers, but just as importantly it means we'll be totally sustainable with no wastage.

We're also working on a Year of The Bub range for any new borns that arrive in the year too.
